The 2025 Highland Golf Links Pro-Am concluded in thrilling fashion after three days across Royal Dornoch, Nairn Golf Club, and Cabot Highlands, with Richard Bland capturing the professional title following a composed, high-class performance on Scotland’s world-renowned links.
In the team competition, victory went to Elixirr Links Wanderers represented by Bobby Skinstad, Dan Garsin, and Dion Scoulelis, alongside their professional, Scott Henderson. They edged a competitive leaderboard through consistency and smart course management, amassing a total of 270 Stableford points.
Jeremy Matte, HGL Tournament Director, congratulated the winners and paid tribute to the event’s partners:
“Huge congratulations to Richard Bland on an exceptional win. His control and decision-making over three classic links tests were top class. And well played to Elixirr Links Wanderers; their amazing fireworks in round three with 98 points to climb the table has ensured they truly deserved the title.
"This event thrives on partnership, and we’re immensely grateful to TravisMathew, Callaway Golf, and Bushnell Golf. Their commitment elevates every part of the HGL Pro Am from player experience and prizes, ultimately showcasing golf in the Highlands.”
He added:
“Our thanks also go to the clubs, volunteers, officials and the full field of professionals and amateurs whose spirit and sportsmanship define this tournament. A special mention must be made about PGA Scotland and their vital work on this event and what they do for golf in Scotland.”

This year’s Pro Am continued to build momentum on and off the course, underpinned by first-class hospitality and strong community support. With the professional crown secured by Richard Bland and a memorable team campaign from Elixirr Links Wanderers, organisers are already focusing on delivering an even stronger edition next year, when it will be held from 28th to 30th September 2026.
